Duration of the programme: The duration of the programme is o years, consisting of four semesters.

Eligibility: Any bachelor’s degree from Mahatma Gandhi University or any other Universities recognized by Mahatma Gandhi University with an aggregate of 50% for Part I,II&III put together. SC/ST candidates need only a pass in the qualifying examination. SEBC and OEC candidates will be given a relaxation of 3% and 5% respectively in the prescribed minimum marks.

Weightage: Weightage of marks for proficiency in NCC/NSS etc. and bonus marks for Ex-Servicemen applicants and widows and children of Jawans/ Ex-Servicemen will be given as per the existing rules of admission. Reservation for candidates with outstanding records in sports and games shall be allowed as per rules. 3%of the seats under Merit quota are reserved for physically challenged candidates.

How and When to apply: Application forms can be downloaded from the website of the Mahatma Gandhi University (www.mgu.ac.in). An application fee of Rs 400/- (Rs 200/-for SC/ST candidates) shall be remitted either at the cash counter of the University or at FRIENDS JANASEVANAKENDRAM or by way of M.G.University Chalan from State Bank of Travancore. Fee once remitted shall not be refunded under any circumstances. The candidates are required to submit applications in the office of the Deputy Registrar I(Acad), CAP CELL(2), M.G. University, Priyadarsini Hills, Kottayam PIN 686 560. However, admission to management seats shall be made by the management concerned from the rank list prepared by the University.

Candidates awaiting results of the qualifying examinations are also eligible to apply for admission provided they shall produce the proof of qualification on or before the date of counselling by the University. A self- addressed stamped envelope(Rs 5/-) shall be enclosed along with the application.

• Applicant should have passed PUC or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Physics, Chemistry, Biology as their optionals and obtained a minimum of 45 % (40% for SC, ST, OBC) aggregate marks in PCM or PCB subjects Or

• Candidates who have passed D. Pharma course with a minimum of 45% (40% for SC, ST, OBC) aggregate marks

Eligibility for admission to 2nd year B. Pharma course is

Eligibility for Pharma D courses

• Candidates should have passed PUC or equivalent examination from Karnataka PUC board or from any approved board or university with English as one of the subject and Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Biology or Mathematics as their subject. Candidates should have passed in all these subjects also

• Candidates who have passed D. Pharma course from any Pharmacy Council of India approved institute are only eligible to be admitted to first year Pharma D course

Willing Karnataka origin candidates should have to pay application fee Rs 600 for General and OBC category Rs 300 for SC, ST category students through NEFT from any nationalized bank payable to Account No 878333780 with NEFT/IFSC code IDIB000M010 Indian Bank, Malleshwaram Branch, Bangalore and send an email to Administration Officer, KEA at keauthority-ka@nic.in
